5/14/09: The first National Public Land Day event of 2009 took place along the Missouri River between Coal Banks Landing and Hole in the Wall campsite. Participants gathered litter, hiked to various sites, and generally enjoyed the beautiful day on the river.
Participants included: Nicholas LaVance, Nat Brooks, Raechal Howard, and several BLM employees.
Don/Jimmy,
Spent Thursday on the river in the company of three of employees of yours, Nat, Nick and Rachel. I must say it was a “breath of fresh air”. Great work ethics, polite, knowledgable, enthusiastic…just all around great kids with a passion for the river and this country. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and their efforts. Thanks for letting them take part, hope to see more of them over the course of the season.
